Collection Development Policy in the Electronic Era

Praveen Shukla, Rajani Mishra

Collection development is one of basic tasks in libraries. Hence the existing collection development policy of libraries must include selection criteria and collection parameters covering these new media formats. This paper deals with the concept of collection development, electronic collection and collection development policy.
